I’ve had the pleasure of reading a preview chapter for a friend’s book pitch and boy, oh boy, do I love it when my friends work on these type of passion projects. Not giving much detail as it still seems pretty much in stealth mode; will share once it’s more public, but it’s right at the intersection of society & culture & passion and it looks A++. Increasingly I’m getting to the point where I think that what people do when they have no meaningful financial incentives at all to do it is the most relevant of all.

As part of getting through lock-downs, quarantines and other shenanigans, we’ve looked at what ways we have available to work out — and got kettlebells and wall bars. Boy oh boy why hadn’t that occurred to me earlier. Super nice, space-efficient ways to get a workout in, without leaving the apartment in case that’s a requirement. A good workout still is one of the more powerful sanity-preserving techniques I know.

Trying, once more, to re-jig my reading habits by relying more on RSS feeds I deliberately follow rather than the firehose that Twitter is. (Although to be fair, my Twitter reading list has served me extremely well over the years.)

Send me your faves, will ya?
